Anxiety Therapy

When Your Nervous System Won’t Slow Down and You Feel Constantly On Edge

Anxiety doesn’t come from nowhere. It often develops as a way of staying alert, protected, or prepared — shaped by early experiences, relationships, and environments where you learned to stay on guard. In anxiety therapy, we slow things down and look beneath the constant worry, tension, or overthinking to understand what your anxiety is responding to. Together, we explore how your history, nervous system, and emotional world shape the way anxiety shows up today so it can soften, rather than continue to run the show.

When Anxiety Starts to Take Over

People often seek anxiety therapy when they’re experiencing:

E

Persistent worry or racing thoughts

E

Physical tension, restlessness, or difficulty relaxing

E

Feeling constantly “on edge” or overwhelmed

E

Overthinking decisions or interactions

E

A sense of pressure to stay in control or prepared

Anxiety often develops for understandable reasons — and it deserves to be understood, not pushed away.

Onnie’s Approach

I work with anxiety from a relational perspective, meaning we look beyond symptoms and explore how anxiety developed over time. For many people, anxiety is rooted in early experiences that required vigilance, responsibility, or emotional awareness long before it felt safe to relax.

My role is to help you understand what your anxiety is protecting you from, how it connects to past relationships and experiences, and how it continues to shape your inner world. We focus on awareness, stabilization, and insight learning how to relate to anxiety differently.

Healing comes from within as self understanding replaces fear and the need for constant control.

You don’t have to stay in constant survival mode.

A Thoughtful Approach to Anxiety Therapy

Anxiety therapy is not about “thinking positive” or learning to suppress worry. It’s about understanding your nervous system, emotional patterns, and internal responses — so anxiety no longer has to dominate your life. My goal is to help you stabilize your nervous system, understand what’s driving your anxiety, and recognize the deeper meaning behind the moments that overwhelm you — so you can move through life with more ease.
