I believe we are shaped by both nature and nurture — by who we are and by the relationships and experiences that came before us. Much of what brings people to therapy makes sense when viewed in the context of their history.

This work involves looking inward — understanding your emotional world, patterns, and responses — and also looking outward, recognizing how real relationships and experiences have impacted you. Not everything that’s difficult comes from within you alone.
